The Interactive Workshops : an added bonus to your professional development plan
Following the great success of the interactive workshops at our last Annual Congress, we decided to place a special focus on these popular courses at the 15th FECAVA Eurocongress. The programme includes a total of 26 workshops : 16 in French and 10 in English. The workshops will cover a wide range of disciplines, all related to the main Eurocongress theme, “Anything but dogs”.
What is an interactive workshop ?
The interactive workshops are based on an exchange between the speaker and the participants.
They allow for a hands-on experience which may include the use of new kinds of equipment or an introduction to a particular technical procedure.
The workshops may also include small, individualized conferences during which both general or more specialized topics may be addressed. But it's all about interaction!
How is an interactive workshop structured ?
Each workshop is composed of 15-20 participants, creating a more “user-friendly” atmosphere.
First, the instructor gives a brief theoretical explanation of the workshop's theme.
The theoretical portion is immediately put into practice by examining clinical case studies or performing practical application exercises. For example, groups of 4 or 5 may perform a radiography study with a negatoscope, under the supervision of a renowned speaker.
Interaction and one-to-one contact with speakers from all disciplines will allow the participants to give a boost to their knowledge of a variety of topics !
What is the goal of an interactive workshop ?
Your participation in an interactive workshop will allow you to combine practical training and theoretical knowledge, making the course all the more beneficial.
The workshops are indeed the occasion to be more actively involved in the Eurocongress offerings.
Each instructor will help in answering any questions you may have, and contacts made during the interactive workshops often lead to further exchanges of questions or photos via internet.
